Joanna Eldredge Morrissey

Jan Clausen’s books include novels, a memoir, and five volumes of poetry. Her most recent poetry collections, From a Glass House (IKON) and If You Like Difficulty (Harbor Mountain Press), both came out in 2007. Recent periodical publications include Bloom, Drunken Boat, Fence, The Hat, H.O.W. Journal, Ploughshares, and Tarpaulin Sky. She blogs about poetry and activism at www.janclausen.blogspot.com and is at work on a book about narrative and crisis under the working title Late Word: Imagination in the Present Crisis. The recipient of writing grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and NYFA, Clausen teaches in the Goddard College MFA in Writing Program.
